It absorbs moisture well and keeps the heat cool by moving it outside the body.
Does not generate static electricity. (While wearing or removing clothes hair static and flit does not occur in cotton fabrics) It holds good dye.
If it is not pre-treated, it shrinkages when washed. If it is exposed to mold and sunlight for a long time, it deteriorates. When wet, it is more robust compared to dry.
It is easy to clean but easily contaminated.
